Electric charging stations are popping up more and more since electric vehicle sales have been rising. Charging station locations vary from businesses, apartment complexes and even office buildings. In recent developments, they have become more visible in parking lots. More local charging stations have been making efforts to ensure electric vehicle drivers are able to notice the charging stations with more ease.

Some EV charging providers have been innovating their charging stations with better visibility and a better charging experience. A Shell PLC station in London made their charging stations with a canopy over them like gas stations, but also included free Wi-Fi and a brand-new seating area. Nearby there is also a café and supermarket. Company Electrify America has visibility built when they install their stations. Charging areas can be seen by their bright neon lighting when travelers are looking for a place to stop and recharge.

Adding better visibility to charging stations can bring more awareness of electric vehicles to those still driving internal combustion engines. Having others see the amount of charging stations available to travelers can help influence those considering the switch from gas to electricity.
