Additionally, the USPS plans to procure 11,750 commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) vehicles from various manufacturers. In total, the agency aims to incorporate “at least 45,000 battery-electric Next Generation Delivery Vehicles (NGDVs) by 2028,” manufactured by Oshkosh, resulting in a fleet exceeding 66,000 EVs.
