According to the latest Market Data: EV Consumer Profiles report from Guidehouse Insights, the three most common berries holding back EV adoption are purchase cost, time to charge, and the availability of charging stations. The first two shouldn’t be a concern for much longer as cheaper EV models continue to come out, and the charging technology continues to advance. The third challenge could actually become worse if we continue to see EV chargers being installed using the walled garden approach.
